Auston Matthews will not play again tonight against the Montreal Canadiens.

Head Coach Mike Babcock announced this morning that Matthews, Frederik Andersen, Nikita Zaitsev and Leo Komarov will all be out.

Matthews has made progress and wore a regular contact jersey at the morning skate on Saturday but still isn't ready to suit up just yet.

The 20-year-old hasn't played since February 22 after an awkward collision where he was sandwiched between two players.

Zaitsev and Andersen both skated today but aren't ready to return while Komarov is day-to-day.
