ANAHEIM, Calif. — Kirsten Moore-Towers and Michael Marinaro of Canada led after the pairs short program at the Four Continents Figure Skating Championships. They were followed by two Chinese pairs: Wenjing Sui and Cong Han in second and Cheng Peng and Yang Jin in third. Americans Ashley Cain and Timothy LeDuc, who won at nationals two weeks ago, were in fourth.

American ice dancing teams held the top two positions following Friday's rhythm dance.

Two-time national champions Madison Hubbell and Zachary Donohue had a narrow lead over Madison Chock and Evan Bates. Both teams train in Montreal under the same coaches. Canadians Kaitlyn Weaver and Andrew Poje, who took bronze at last year's World championships, were third. Defending Four Continents champions Kaitlin Hawayek and Jean-Luc Baker of the United States were fifth.
