ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Chris Mueller scored two goals and set up another to lead the Toronto Marlies to a 5-3 victory over the Rochester Americans on Friday in American Hockey League action.

Calle Rosen, Kerby Rychel and Miro Aaltonen, into an empty net, also scored for North Division-leading Toronto (39-14-1).

Justin Bailey led the Americans (26-15-14) with a goal and a helper. Seth Griffith and Alexander Nylander also scored.

Marlies goaltender Garrett Sparks made just 14 saves for the win. Rochester's Linus Ullmark stopped 30 shots.

Toronto was 1 for 5 on the power play while the Americans were scoreless on four attempts with the man advantage.
