Just one day after signing his entry-level contract with the team, Ryan Donato will make his Boston Bruins debut Monday night against the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Donato, who represented Team USA at the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics last month, led Harvard in scoring during the 2017-18 season with 26 goals and 17 assists as well as a plus-15 rating in 29 games.

Undrafted in the NHL, he signed a two-year contract with the Bruins on Sunday. He took part in his first professional practice on Monday and head coach Bruce Cassidy confirmed he would play against Columbus.

Donato skated Monday morning on the team's third line with Noel Acciari and fellow Olympian Brian Gionta. Cassidy said Donato will also see time on the team's power play.

The 21-year-old was named NCAA Ivy League Player of the Year in 2016-17 after leading his school to an ECAC Championship and into the Frozen Four.

Donato is one of 10 players selected as a finalist for the Hobey Baker award.
