The regular season is fast approaching and teams around the league are starting the process of paring down their rosters. Teams must be at 75 players on the active list by 4pm et/1pm pt Tuesday which means a number of big names will be surprise inclusions in the first round of cuts. Oakland Raiders

ESPN reported Monday night the Raiders will be cutting running back Trent Richardson and receiver Kembrell Thompkins among others. Richardson, the third overall pick in 2012, has now been jettisoned by three different teams and his shot with the Raiders could have been his last in the NFL.

Cincinnati Bengals

The Bengals cut receiver Denarius Moore along with nine other players Monday. The Bengals had hoped Moore would refind his form he showed early in his career under Bengals' offensive coordinator Hue Jackson while the two were both in Oakland.

Minnesota Vikings

The team cut tight end Brandon Bostick on Monday. Bostick became famous for misplaying an onside kick in the NFC Championship game with the Packers in January. Bostick ditched his blocking assignment and instead tried to field the kick. It bounced off his hands and was recovered by the Seahawks. He was cut by the Packers in February and then signed by the Vikings. Running back Joe Banyard was also released.

Detroit Lions

Former second-round pick wide receiver Ryan Broyles was released on Monday. He played in just 21 games across three seasons due to injuries.

New England Patriots

Receiver Josh Boyce, a fourth-round pick in 2013, was released Monday. Boyce played in just one game last season.
