Missouri defensive end and projected top pick in the NFL Draft Shane Ray was arrested Monday morning on possession of marijuana charges.

Ray, whose stock has dipped recently due to concerns of a foot injury, was also charged with failure to drive in the right lane of a highway, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol records.

The former Missouri standout has been projected to be picked as high as fifth-overall in Thursday's draft, but will likely fall much further due to recent health concerns and his arrest.

The official marijuana charge is listed as "possession of 35 grams or less," which is a misdemeanor that can carry up to a one-year jail sentence and a maximum fine of $1,000.
