Baker Mayfield – Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Carolina Panthers – 1pm ET

Top spot in the NFC South is up for grabs in the first of two meetings that will take place between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Carolina Panthers over the next three weeks.
The divisional rivals enter Week 16 with identical 7-7 records.
Baker Mayfield will be trying to turn the recent fortunes of the Buccaneers around on Sunday as they have dropped two straight and both to teams from the NFC South.
He threw for 227 yards and two touchdowns in a 29-28 loss to the Atlanta Falcons in Week 15 and for 122 yards and a touchdown in a Week 14, 24-20 defeat at the hands of the New Orleans Saints.
The 30-year-old is going to fall short of the career-high 41 touchdown passes he threw last season when he led the Bucs to a division title and was named to the Pro Bowl.
Mayfield has posted a pair of three-touchdown games in 2025. He opened the season with three majors in a 23-20 victory over the Falcons and did it again in a Week 10 loss to the New England Patriots.
Last season, Mayfield saved his best game of the year for the Panthers when he threw 359 yards and five touchdowns to earn a 48-14 win in Week 17, a victory that allowed them to take control of the division race for good.
The Austin, Texas native played seven games for the Panthers in 2022 and has a 4-0 record against his former employers since leaving the team.

Bo Nix – Denver Broncos vs. Jacksonville Jaguars – 4:05pm ET

It might have been surprising at the beginning of the season, but one of the biggest games on the Week 16 slate will take place between the AFC South-leading Jacksonville Jaguars and the AFC West-leading Denver Broncos, two of the hottest teams in the NFL.
Second-year quarterback Bo Nix has led the Broncos to 11-straight wins, currently the best in the league, as they have ascended to the top of their division with a 12-2 mark and are the only team in the conference to have officially secured a playoff spot heading into the week.
They will take on the Jaguars, who have reeled off five consecutive wins of their own and hold a 10-4 record ahead of the matchup.
Nix comes into this game having already passed a major test last week, when he threw for 302 yards and four touchdowns as the Broncos defeated the Green Bay Packers 34-26 in an interconference battle of two of the best teams in the league.
The 25-year-old threw touchdown passes to Michael Bandy and Lil’Jordan Humphrey in the first half and Courtland Sutton and Troy Franklin in the second half to power the Broncos to their 11th victory in a row.
In total he found seven different receivers on 23 receptions, including Sutton, who caught a game-high seven passes for 113 yards.
The victory over the Packers was Nix’s second four-touchdown game of the season, he also threw four against the Dallas Cowboys in a 44-24 victory in Week 8.
