This week we turn our attention to two elite running backs that know how to find the end zone and aren’t afraid to go around or through a defender to get to pay dirt.
Jahmyr Gibbs – Detroit Lions vs. Cleveland Browns – 1pm ET

As one half of the Detroit Lions’ superstar backfield, Jahmyr Gibbs found the end zone twice last week against the Baltimore Ravens in a 38-30 victory.
He opened the scoring with a traditional one-yard run that was the culmination of a 13-play, 67-yard drive in the first quarter.
Gibbs then combined with quarterback Jared Goff and wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown to roll the highlight reel and score his second major of the game on a fourth-down gadget play.
On the first play of the fourth quarter, St. Brown took a hand off from Goff and flipped the ball to Gibbs who ran untouched into the end zone for a four-yard score.
The 23-year-old finished the game with 22 carries for 67 yards on the ground as well as five catches for 32 yards through the air to go along with his two scores.
The other half of the Lions running back duo, David Montgomery, also found the end zone twice as he posted 151 yards on the ground in the victory.
Gibbs has three touchdowns in three weeks to open the season after crossing the goal line a career-high 16 times last year.
He also had four receiving scores last year, he has yet to catch a TD pass in 2025.

Derrick Henry – Baltimore Ravens vs. Kansas City Chiefs – 4:25pm ET

What does an angry Derrick Henry have in store when the Ravens take on the Kansas City Chiefs?
The 31-year-old, who has accomplished feats in the NFL that few others have, enters Sunday’s contest with something new to prove, even if it’s just to himself.
Henry carried the ball 12 times for 50 yards and a touchdown in Week 3 against the Lions, but had a key fumble in the fourth quarter as the Ravens lost 38-30 to fall to 1-2 on the season.
Isolated, one lost fumble would probably not be worthy of headlines. However, Henry has fumbled three times in the first three games of the season, including coughing the ball up in the fourth quarter twice.
“I’m still pissed, mad at myself,” Henry told baltimoreravens.com ahead of Sunday’s contest. “I don’t try to harp on it too much. At the same time, it’s a problem that’s got to be fixed. I’m working on it as hard as I can to get this issue resolved. It’s tough right now because it’s been consecutive weeks – back-to-back-to-back, which is crazy.”
For his part, Ravens head coach John Harbaugh is not sounding the alarms about his feature back.
“He said he’s his own worst critic, I like to say he’s his own best critic,” Harbaugh said to baltimoreravens.com. “He’s very, very accountable. When somebody cares so much about what they’re doing and they’re so accomplished, and so talented and so good and works so hard – as a coach you just can’t worry about that. I’m not worried about Derrick Henry at all.”
Henry opened the season with a two-touchdown performance against the Buffalo Bills where he carried the ball 18-times for 169 yards.
The Florida native tied for the league lead with 16 rushing touchdowns last season, it was the third time in his career that he finished at the top of the league in that category.
In 2019 he once again tied for the most with 16 and the following year he led all rushers outright with 17 scores.
Henry also became the eighth player to top 2,000 yards in a season in 2020 when he rushed for 2,027, the fifth-most all-time.
