Over the next several weeks, the NHL and NHLPA will visit with all 30 NHL clubs, educating players on the sensitive and relevant issues surrounding domestic violence, sexual harassment and sexual assault.

Sources say the league has hired outside professionals to deliver the messaging and manage the presentations which began with a stop in Buffalo on Monday.

The NHL and NHLPA hope to have all teams trained by the end of February.

The two sides have been working on this initiative since last season, but required time to organize and NHLPA approval before the program could be introduced.
