New Orleans Pelicans forward Anthony Davis has been fined $15,000 for directing an obscene gesture toward a fan after the Pelicans' loss to the Charlotte Hornets Wednesday.

The league announced the fine, which occurred at New Orleans' Smoothie King Center as Davis was exiting the court.
