DRUMMONDVILLE, Que. — Joseph Veleno, Nicholas Girouard, Gregor MacLeod and Nicolas Guay each scored twice as the Drummondville Voltigeurs defeated the Saint John Sea Dogs 9-2 on Thursday in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action.

Marc-Olivier Duquette also scored as the Voltigeurs (34-9-1) jumped out to a nine-goal lead en route to its fourth straight win.

William Poirier and Luke Wilson scored 30 seconds apart late in the third period for the Sea Dogs (11-30-3), who had their win streak halted at three games.

Anthony Morrone made 17 saves for Drummondville. Zachary Bouthillier went the distance for Saint John and kicked out 53-of-62 shots in the one-sided affair.

The Voltigeurs went 0 for 3 on the power play while the Sea Dogs were 0 for 1 with the man advantage.

ROUYN-NORANDA, Que. — Joel Teasdale had a pair of goals as the league-leading Huskies blanked Val-d'Or for their sixth win in a row.

Zachary Emond only had to make 14 saves for the shutout while Rafael Harvey-Pinard and Peter Abbandonato also scored for Rouyn-Noranda (36-7-1).

Mathieu Marquis turned away 53-of-57 shots for the Foreurs (14-24-5), who are on a five-game slide.

ISLANDERS 3 REMPARTS 2 (OT)

QUEBEC CITY, Que. — Hunter Drew scored at 1:13 of overtime as Charlottetown edged the Remparts to snap a three-game slide.

Jordan Maher and Colin Van Den Hurk also scored for the Islanders (26-12-4), who got 23 saves from Matthew Welsh.

Pier-Olivier Lacombe and Andrew Coxhead found the back of the net for Quebec (19-15-10). Kyle Jessiman made 12 saves in a losing cause.
