BAIE-COMEAU, Que. — Nathan Legare scored three times to power the Baie-Comeau Drakkar past the Sherbrooke Phoenix 4-3 on Tuesday in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action.

Legare's second goal came on the power play and his third at the 17:35 mark of the third period stood as the winner.

Yaroslav Alexeyev also scored for the Drakkar (5-0-0) while Kyle Jessiman made 35 saves for the win.

Samuel Poulin struck twice for Sherbrooke (2-2-1) and Edouard St-Laurent added a late goal as well. Brendan Cregan stopped 30 shots in net.

Baie-Comeau scored on both of its power plays and the Phoenix went 1 for 3 with the man advantage.

MONCTON, N.B. — Brooklyn Kalmikov had a hat trick — including the power-play winner — as Cape Breton downed the Wildcats.

Egor Sokolov and Gabriel Proulx also scored for the Screaming Eagles (3-2-0).

Mika Cyr scored and assisted on Adam Capannelli's goal for Moncton (2-3-0).
