WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. — Sam Querrey, John Isner, Ryan Harrison and Steve Johnson are on the U.S. Davis Cup roster that will play at Serbia — minus Novak Djokovic — in the first round next month.

The highest-ranked American man, No. 9 Jack Sock, was not included in captain Jim Courier's team, which was announced Tuesday.

Sock, No. 16 Isner and No. 48 Steve Johnson lost in the first round at the Australian Open. No. 13 Querrey got beaten in the second round and No. 45 Harrison the third.

Serbia will be without its three top singles players: 12-time major champion Djokovic, whose right elbow injury flared up during his fourth-round loss in Melbourne, No. 36 Filip Krajinovic and No. 65 Viktor Troicki. Instead, the hosts have No. 75 Dusan Lajovic, No. 85 Laslo Djere, No. 176 Nikola Milojevic, No. 232 Pedja Krstin and No. 297 Miljan Zekic.

The best-of-five-match series on an indoor red-clay court will be at Nis, Serbia, on Feb. 2-4.
