Milos Raonic is off to the Australian Open quarter-finals as he aims to win his first Grand Slam. Standing in his way is Frenchman Lucas Pouille, who will face off against the Canadian for the fourth time in their respective careers.
You can catch the match LIVE Tuesday on TSN3&5 and streaming on TSN.ca, the TSN App and TSN Direct at 10:30pm et/7:30pm pt.
Raonic, the No. 17 seed, is coming off a strong performance in round four against the No. 4 ranked Alexander Zverev, as he beat the German in straight sets. The furthest Raonic has gone at an Australian Open is the semifinal in 2016. Raonic has defeated the likes of Nick Kyrgios, Stan Wawarinka, Pierre-Hugues Herbert and Zverev in his journey to the quarter-finals.
Pouille, the No. 20 ranked player in the world, won his previous match in four sets by beating No. 11 seed Borna Coric to set up his third career Grand Slam quarter-final appearance. For Raonic, this will be his ninth career quarter-finals appearance at a Grand Slam.
Raonic and Pouille have faced off three times previously, with Raonic winning all three matches. The most recent match was in 2018 at Stuttgart in the semifinal, which Raonic won in straight sets. If Raonic wins, he would face the winner of the Novak Djokovic/Kei Nishikori quarter-final.
