The Toronto Raptors have made a minor transaction.

The team has traded Malachi Richardson, a second-round pick in 2022 and the draft rights to Emir Preldzic to the Sixers in exchange for cash considerations.

Richardson, 23, was acquired by the Raptors at last year's deadline from the Sacramento Kings in exchange for Bruno Caboclo.

He has split the season between the Raptors and their G-League affiliate, Raptors 905. In 28 games with the Raps this season, the seldom-used Richardson averaged 1.4 points and 0.6 rebounds in 4.7 minutes a night.

Preldzic, 31, was a 2009 second-round pick by the Phoenix Suns and was acquired by the Raptors from the Indiana Pacers in 2017 for Cory Joseph. Currently with Bahcesehir in his native Turkey, he is unlikely to ever appear in the NBA.
