The Ottawa Redblacks continued their off-season work Monday, announcing the signings of fullback Brendan Gillanders and linebacker Jean-Philippe Bolduc.

Both players were signed to two-year deals.

“Brendan and JP have been key fixtures for the Redblacks,” GM Marcel Desjardins said in a team release. “They are both the type of player and person who make our team better…both on and off the field.”

Gillanders, a University of Ottawa product, played in all 18 regular season games for the Redblacks last season, recording 21 carries for 133 yards.

Bolduc, a Laval product, had 14 special teams tackles.
