The Sacramento Kings are reportedly close to signing Andrea Bargnani.

According to ESPN.com's Marc Stein, the Kings and the seven-foot Italian centre are finalizing a contract that could be done as early as Sunday afternoon.

Bargnani, 29, appeared in 29 games with the New York Knicks in 2014-15, averaging 14.8 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 27.1 minutes.

Originally selected first overall by the Toronto Raptors at the 2006 NBA Draft, Bargnani has averaged 15.0 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 504 career games with the two clubs. The Raptors dealt him to the Knicks in the summer of 2013 in exchange for Steve Novak, Marcus Camby, Quentin Richardson and a 2016 first-round draft pick.
