Report: BoSox ink Young to multi-year deal
The Boston Red Sox have agreed to a multi-year deal with free agent outfielder Chris Young, reports FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal. The deal is pending a physical. The 32-year-old spent the past two seasons with the New York Yankees.

Chris Young is sticking around in the American League East.
Young, 32, appeared in 140 games for the New York Yankees last season. He hit .252 with 14 home runs and 42 runs batted in with an OPS of .773. He hit left-handed pitching well, batting .327 with a .972 OPS in 181 plate appearances.
A 10-year veteran, Young has also spent time with the Arizona Diamondbacks, Oakland Athletics and New York Mets. He was a National League All-Star in 2010 with the Diamondbacks.
The Red Sox outfield is now a crowded one with Young joining incumbents Mookie Betts, Jackie Bradley, Jr. Rusney Castillo, Brock Holt and Hanley Ramirez.
