Vince Carter plans on returning for a 21st NBA season in 2018-19, according to Marc Spears of The Undefeated.

The 41-year-old added that next year will more than likely be his last.

"I plan on coming back next season," Carter told Spears. "I plan on coming back one more season. I'm almost 90 per cent sure that's it after next season."

Carter averaged 5.3 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.2 assists over 57 games with the Sacramento Kings this season, his first with the organization. He averaged 17.6 minutes of playing time per game in 2017-18.

The University of North Carolina product will be a free agent on July 1 when his one-year, $8 million contract comes to an end.

Carter has averaged 17.7 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.3 assists over 1404 career games with the Toronto Raptors, New Jersey Nets, Orlando Magic, Phoenix Suns, Dallas Mavericks, Memphis Grizzlies and Kings.
