Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant's individual numbers have dipped considerably the past couple of seasons, and the team may longer be interested in paying him a salary comparable to the other star wideouts in the NFL.

Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports that Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is likely to ask Bryant to take some sort of pay cut from his 2018 salary when the two meet on Friday. Bryant's salary for the upcoming season currently stands at $12.5 million and in total counts as $16.5 million against the Cowboys salary cap, numbers the Cowboys are not  willing move forward with, per Rapoport.

The 29-year-old Bryant has two seasons left on a five-year, $70 million deal he signed ahead of the 2015 season. From what he's been told, Rapoport says the expectation is that Bryant is expected to remain with the Cowboys.

Last season, Bryant hauled in 69 passes for 838 yards and six touchdowns.
