The Miami Dolphins will release defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh ahead of free agency and as early as Monday, according to a report from ESPN's Jeff Darlington.

Darlington reported the release is part of the team's attempted culture change, a plan that has purged three of Miami's most talented players in the past year, after running back Jay Ajayi was traded to the Philadelphia Eagles mid-year and wide receiver Jarvis Landry was sent to the Cleveland Browns last week.

Suh has been with the Dolphins the past two seasons after signing a monster six-year, $114.375 million deal with the team. The 31-year-old finished with 29 tackles and 4.5 sacks in 16 games. A five-time Pro Bowler and three-time First Team All Pro, Suh has been incredibly durable his entire career, missing only two game due to suspension. The 2010 second overall pick has 289 tackles and 51.5 sacks in 126 career games split between the Dolphins and Detroit Lions.

The Dolphins will also release linebacker Lawrence Timmons, according to multiple reports. Timmons, who went AWOL last season before returning to the team, finished last year with 58 tackles in 14 games.
