The Orlando Magic have re-signed forward Aaron Gordon to a four-year deal worth $84 million according to Yahoo's Shams Charania.

Gordon was second on the Magic in points per game at 17.6, just behind Evan Fournier’s average of 17.8. Gordon’s scoring and assist average has increased every season since he entered the league in 2014. His three-point shooting also jumped from 28.8 per cent in 2016-17 to 36.6 last season.

Despite Gordon’s success, the Magic have struggled the past several seasons. Since losing in the first round of the playoffs in 2012, Orlando has missed the playoffs in each of the past six seasons.

Gordon, who doesn’t turn 23 until Sept. 16, was selected fourth overall by the Magic out of Arizona in 2014.
