Rafael Soriano has no shortage of suitors and the Toronto Blue Jays appear to be one of them.

The 35-year-old veteran is still without a team in 2015 after spending the last two seasons with the Washington Nationals. Last week, Soriano cut ties with long-time agent Scott Boras before linking up with Nero.

He is scheduled to work out for teams from the Dominican Republic on June 11.

Soriano is a 13-year MLB veteran and was an All-Star in 2010 as a member of the Tampa Bay Rays. He has saved 40 games or more in three seasons (2010, 2012 and 2013) and led the league with 45 in 2010.

Last season with the Nationals, Soriano went 4-1 with a 3.19 ERA and 1.129 WHIP in 64 appearances. Soriano was lifted from his closer's role in early September in favour of a committee set-up featuring Drew Storen and Tyler Clippard.
