The Denver Broncos have agreed to trade quarterback Case Keenum and a seventh round draft pick to Washington for a sixth round draft pick, according to a report from NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

The Broncos will also adjust Keenum's contract for Washington as part of the trade, Rapoport reported. The Broncos signed Keenum to a two-year contract ahead of last season. He was made expendable after the team traded for Joe Flacco from the Baltimore Ravens earlier this off-season.

In Keenum's lone season with the Broncos, the 31-year-old threw for 3,890 yards and 18 touchdowns to 15 interceptions. He was more effective the year before with the Minnesota Vikings, leading the team to an 11-3 record over 14 starts while throwing for 3,547 yards and 22 touchdowns to seven interceptions.

Over his seven-year career, Keenum has played for the Broncos, Vikings, Rams - both in St. Louis and Los Angeles, and Houston Texans.
