Former Toronto Raptor Bruno Caboclo is apparently set to become a free agent.

The Sacramento Kings will not tender a qualifying offer to the 22-yeard-old forward and he will become an unrestricted free agent, reports ESPN's Chris Haynes. According to Haynes, the move was a mutual decision.

Caboclo, who began his career with the Raptors, spent three-plus seasons in Toronto before being traded to the Kings for Malachi Richardson at the trade deadline.

When the Raptors drafted Caboclo in the first round of the 2014 draft, the draft rap on the Brazil native was that he had potential but that he was also a definite project-type player. The latter regarding Caboclo was spot on. He first failed to fit in with the Raptors, appearing in just 37 games with them, and he clearly wasn’t a fit with the Kings, either.

Caboclo holds averages of 1.5 points per game and 1.0 rebounds in 47 career appearances.
