The Miami Marlins will reportedly have righty Edinson Volquez in their starting rotation next season.

According to Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports, the Marlins have agreed with the free agent on a two-year contract worth $22 million that is pending a physical.

In 189.1 innings pitched for the Kansas City Royals last season, Volquez struck out 139 and was 10-11 with a 5.37 ERA and 1.55 WHIP in 34 starts.

Volquez will be joining his seventh major league club. Over 252 starts for Texas, Cincinnati, San Diego, the Dodgers, Pittsburgh and the Royals, Volquez is 89-79 with a 4.44 ERA and 1.45 WHIP. The 33-year-old broke into the majors in 2005, and played in the All-Star Game in 2008.
