The National Football League will consider making pass interference calls reviewable this off-season, according to a report from the Washington Post.

The report comes after the NFL admitted to blowing a pass interference call late in the NFC Championship that could have changed the outcome of the game.

The Post reported the league’s competition committee will consider making pass interference calls subject to coach’s challenges and instant replay review.

The play in question happened with 1:41 left in the NFC Championship. Los Angeles Rams cornerback Nickell Robey-Coleman hit New Orleans Saints wide receiver Tommylee Lewis before Drew Brees’ pass arrived on a third down play. Had a penalty been called on the play, the Saints would have been able to drain the clock more before kicking their go-ahead field goal. With the penalty going uncalled, the Rams had enough time to move down the field and kick a game-tying field goal, before winning it in overtime.

Pass interference calls are reviewable in the Canadian Football League.
