The Denver Nuggets and Nikola Jokic have agreed on a five-year $148 million deal to stay with the team, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Jokic was a restricted free-agent after the team declined the $1.6 million player option. The deal gives Jokic a max contract.

The 23-year-old averaged 18.5 points and 10.7 rebounds per game last season and has played three years with the Nuggets.

Jokic was drafted in the second round (41st overall) in the 2014 NBA Draft.
