Leonys Martin has signed a one year $1.75 million deal with the Detroit Tigers according to Bob Nightengale of the USA today. The Cuban outfielder split the 2017 season between the Seattle Mariners and Chicago Cubs and hit .172, with a .232 OBP and stole seven bases in 49 games.

Martin signed a major league contract, while Detroit also signed catcher Derek Norris, outfielder Jim Adduci, and pitcher Enrique Burgos to minor league deals.
