Oakland Raiders running back Isaiah Crowell will miss the entire 2019 season after tearing his Achilles in a team workout Tuesday, according to a report from ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Crowell, who the Raiders signed to a one-year contract earlier this off-season, will undergo season-ending surgery next week, per Schefter's report.

The 26-year-old played last season with the New York Jets, finishing with 685 yards and six touchdowns on 143 carries in 13 games with six starts.

With Crowell's injury, Raiders first round draft pick Josh Jacobs, who was already slated for a starting role with the team, figures to be in line for even more work his rookie season.
