Joe Johnson's days in Brooklyn are officially over and the veteran will take some time to choose a new club, according to ESPN's Marc Stein.

The Nets bought out the 34-year-old on Thursday and there are already a plethora of teams are in pursuit, including the Toronto Raptors.

However, TSN 1050's Josh Lewenberg says Johnson is unlikely to come to Toronto. Lewenberg says that once he clears waivers, the Raptors can't offer him more money than any other team and Johnson is more likely to lean toward championship contenders and teams that can promise him more playing time.
