The 27-year-old averaged 15.2 points in 45 games with the New Orleans Pelicans last season.

The once prolific scorer has struggled with numerous knee injuries over the course of his eight-year career. Most recently, he dealt with a right finger injury that required surgery, ending his 2015-2016 campaign. He’s dressed for more than 70 games in a season only once, during his rookie season.

The shooting guard has been with the New Orleans organization since being traded from the Los Angeles Clippers back in 2011. The deal saw Gordon, Chris Kaman, and Al-Farouq Aminu go to the Hornets at the time for Chris Paul.

The best season for the 2008 seventh overall pick, came in 2009-2010. Gordon averaged 22 points per contest, while shooting shy of 45 percent.
