Tim Tebow’s season may have come to an end as ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that he broke the hamate bone in his right hand this past weekend.

Tebow is scheduled to have surgery on Tuesday and will likely miss the remainder of the season.

The 30-year-old was injured on Thursday while playing for the Double-A Binghamton Rumble Ponies and was placed on the seven-day DL.

In 84 games this season, Tebow is hitting .273 with six homers and 36 RBIs and a .336 on base percentage.
