The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have re-signed tight end Cameron Brate to a six-year, $41 million deal, according to Jenna Laine of ESPN. Brate's new deal carries with it $18 million in guarantees.

Brate was a pending restricted free agent after spending the first four years of his career with the Bucs. The 26-year-old finished last season with 48 receptions for 591 yards and six touchdowns.

The Bucs are also bringing back veteran cornerback Brent Grimes, according to a report from NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Grimes will sign a one-year deal with the team worth up to $10 million, according to Rapoport.

The 34-year-old Grimes has spent the past two seasons in Tampa Bay and finished last year with 44 tackles, three interceptions, and 11 pass defences.
