Just days after being acquired in the Dion Phaneuf/Marian Gaborik trade, forward Nick Shore has been flipped by the Ottawa Senators to the Calgary Flames in exchange for a 2019 seventh-round pick.

In 55 games split between the Los Angeles Kings and the Ottawa Senators, the Denver, Colorado native has four goals and 12 assists.

“It’s been a hectic last few weeks for all of us. Today we didn’t make many changes. We are very comfortable with this hockey team," general manager Pierre Dorion said.

The 25-year old Shore was selected in the third-round, 82nd overall by the Los Angeles Kings in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft.

The Senators will be back in action Tuesday night against the Washington Capitals, while the Flames will take on the Dallas Stars later in the evening.
