The Ottawa Senators made their second trade of the day Friday, sending forward Paul Carey to the Boston Bruins for defenceman Cody Goloubef.

The move was the team's second swap of AHL players on the day after trading Gabriel Gagne to the Toronto Maple Leafs for Morgan Klimchuk

He was a second-round pick of the Blue Jackets in the 2008 NHL draft.

Carey, 30, has appeared in five games with the Senators this season, failing to post a point. He has five goals and 27 points in 29 games with the AHL's Belleville Senators.

He has eight goals and 16 points in 97 career games with the Colorado Avalanche, Washington Capitals, New York Rangers and Senators.
