The Calgary Stampeders have re-signed receiver DaVaris Daniels.

Daniels, who had workouts with a number of NFL teams this off-season, was expected to return to the Stamps if an NFL deal didn't materialize.

The 25-year-old finished with 47 receptions for 743 yards and four touchdowns in 13 games last year.

"In his two years with us, DaVaris has shown the ability to be one of the CFL's most dangerous and productive receivers," Stampeders GM John Hufnagel said in a team statement. "I look forward to watching him continue to improve his game and taking the next step in his career in 2018."

Daniels started his CFL career with the Stampeders in 2016 and was named the CFL's Most Outstanding Rookie that year after finishing with 51 receptions for 885 yards and nine touchdowns in 11 games.

Parker meanwhile, finished last year with 36 receptions for 482 yards and three touchdowns. The 28-year-old has spent his entire seven-year career with the Stampeders, and has 178 career receptions for 2,245 yards, and 15 touchdowns.
