The Dallas Stars have acquired defenceman Jamie Oleksiak from the Pittsburgh Penguins in exchange for a 2019 fourth-round draft pick, the team announced Monday.

This now gives the Penguins three fourth-round selections in the coming draft.

It's a bit of deja vu for Oleksiak, who was dealt from the Stars to the Penguins in December of 2017 in exchange for a conditional fourth-rounder. He spent the first six-plus seasons of his career in Dallas before arriving in the Steel City.

In 36 games so far this season, Oleksiak has four goals and seven assists. He is on pace to set a new career-high in points, his previous total coming last season with 17.

The 26-year-old is a native of Toronto and was drafted in the first round (No. 14 overall) of the 2011 NHL Draft.

Dallas will return from the break Wednesday at home against the Buffalo Sabres, while Pittsburgh takes on the New Jersey Devils at PPG Paints Arena Monday night.
