Sinopoli and Harris are in fine form and it was a good week for running backs – Wilder, Harris, Thigpen and more in Scott Cullen’s Statistically Speaking.


Brad Sinopoli, WR, Ottawa – The Redblacks’ primary target at Montreal was the Canadian receiver who has had three straight 1,000-yard seasons. Sinopoli hauled in 11 catches for 148 yards and a touchdown in a 28-18 win. Fantasy Points: 31.8

Trevor Harris, QB, Ottawa – After an uncharacteristically poor game in Week Three, the Redblacks quarterback was back on track in Week Four, throwing for 342 yards and three touchdowns in a 28-18 win at Montreal. Fantasy Points: 25.7

James Wilder Jr., RB, Toronto – He had been quiet through the first couple of games but, coming off the bye week, the Argonauts running back piled up 147 yards and a touchdown on 24 touches in a 20-17 victory over Edmonton. Fantasy Points: 23.7

Andrew Harris, RB, Winnipeg – With the Bombers blowing out the Lions, Harris accumulated 131 yards and a touchdown on 16 touches, the third straight week that he has recorded more than 15 fantasy points. Fantasy Points: 23.1

Marcus Thigpen is taking on a bigger role for the Roughriders.

Marcus Thigpen, RB, Saskatchewan – The leader in the Roughriders’ running back competition, Thigpen had 95 yards and a game-winning touchdown on just nine touches in an 18-13 win over Hamilton. Fantasy Points: 19.5

Brandon Banks, WR, Hamilton – For the third consecutive week, the Tiger-Cats’ wideout went for more than 100 yards, catching seven passes for 113 yards, in an 18-13 loss to Saskatchewan. Fantasy Points: 18.0

Tyrell Sutton, RB, Montreal – In a 28-18 loss to Ottawa, the Alouettes running back gained 95 yards and scored a touchdown on 14 touches. Fantasy Points: 18.5

Jeremiah Johnson, RB, B.C. – Even as the Lions are losing, their running back is making the most of his opportunities. He put up 93 yards and a touchdown on 15 touches in a 41-19 loss at Edmonton. Fantasy Points: 18.7

William Powell, RB, Ottawa – With a heavy workload while protecting a lead against Montreal, the Redblacks runner had 23 carries for 138 yards. Fantasy Points: 13.8


Jonathan Jennings, QB, B.C. – Consistency remains elusive for the Lions quarterback, who was held to 105 yards on 24 passes while throwing two interceptions. Fantasy Points: 0.8

Adarius Bowman, WR, Winnipeg – For the second time in four games, the Blue Bombers receiver was held off the scoresheet., recording zero catches for zero yards against B.C. Fantasy Points: 0.0

Ernest Jackson, WR, Montreal – The Alouettes’ quarterback situation isn’t ideal for Jackson, the veteran receiver who followed up two catches last week with zero this week. Fantasy Points: 0.0

Emmanuel Arceneaux, WR, B.C. – Just two catches for 12 yards in a 41-19 loss at B.C., Fantasy Points: 3.2
