Mark Stone took a bit of a shot at his former team before Vegas' Game 5 Thursday night.

"These are the type of games you want to be playing in as a hockey player. If I wasn’t having fun, I’d probably still be in Ottawa." Stone told Justin Emerson of the Las Vegas Sun.

Stone was traded to the Golden Knights at the deadline but it wasn't smooth sailing for him right from the beginning as he had 11 points in Vegas' final 18 games after being over a point per game player for Ottawa.

However, Stone found success in the Golden Knights' opening four playoff games. His six goals and 10 points led the team and his contributions were a large reason why Vegas got out to a 3-1 series lead.

Stone and the Golden Knights had a chance to wrap up the series Thursday night but failed to do so, failing 5-2 to the Sharks. He ended the night with no points and was a -2.

Game 6 will go on Sunday with Vegas once again looking to punch their ticket to the second round.
