The Boston Major groups, format revealed
The groups are set for the Boston Major and the format has been announced for the opening round of the tournament this weekend. The Boston Major group stage is schedule for Dec. 3-4 and the main event will be held at the Wang Theatre from Dec. 7-10.

The groups are set for the Boston Major and the format has been announced for the opening round of the tournament this weekend.
The 16 teams will compete in a GSL-style, best-of-three to determine the top two teams that will advance to the knockout stage. The top seed from each group will choose one of the bottom seeds from another group as their first opponent for the main event. Second seeds will square off against the remaining teams.
