Justin Hickman is staying in Hamilton.

The Tiger-Cats announced they have re-signed the international defensive end and former CFL All-Star, two days after free agency opened.

"Re-signing Justin was key to maintaining the continuity on our defensive line," Ticats general manager and head coach Kent Austin said in a team release. "We are looking forward to Justin having an even more productive season in year two of his return to Hamilton".

Hickman signed with the NFL’s Indianapolis Colts after leading the league in sacks with 13 in 2011, but returned to Hamilton midway through the year once cut by the Colts.

Through five CFL seasons, Hickman has 153 tackles and 28 sacks.
