UFC fans know there was no shortage of drama in the Octagon this year.

With so much for fight fans to reflect on as the year winds down, TSN presents “Three Nights of Fights” with a look back on three of 2017’s biggest UFC events: UFC 211, UFC 218, and UFC 217, starting tonight (Dec. 19) at 7 p.m. ET on TSN2. 

This year featured the return of a Canadian legend, the debut of two new weight classes in the women’s division, and the beginning of the “Blessed Era” as Max Holloway became the undisputed featherweight king. 

UFC 211: MIOCIC VS. DOS SANTOS II tonight at 7 p.m. ET on TSN2: Live from Dallas, this marquee event had two titles on the line. Stipe Miocic aimed to lock in his second title defense and get redemption against Junior dos Santos and Joanna Jedrzejczyk looked to cement her legacy as the greatest straw-weight of all time with another title defense, this time against Jessica Andrade. Joining the card was Damien Maia and Jorge Masvidal in a battle of top welterweight contenders, along with the highly anticipated featherweight showdown between former lightweight champ Frankie Edgar and the acrobatic Yair Rodriguez. 

UFC 218: HOLLOWAY VS. ALDO II tomorrow (Dec. 20) at 8 p.m. ET on TSN2:  TSN showcases the first television replay of UFC 218. The main event saw Max Holloway defending his featherweight title against one of the sport’s all-time greats, Jose Aldo, a rematch of their fight from this summer. Francis Ngannou looked to continue tearing up the heavyweight rankings as he faced off against Allistair Overeem in a title eliminator fight. Also on the card, a contender for fight of the year between Eddie Alvarez and Justin Gaethje

UFC 217: BISPING VS. ST-PIERRE on Thursday, Dec. 21 at 8 p.m. ET on TSN2: With a star-studded card including a trio of title fights, UFC 217 was the year’s biggest event. Canadian MMA legend Georges St-Pierre returned from a four-year absence to take on another timeless UFC veteran, Michael Bisping, for the middleweight title. Joanna Jedrzejczyk looked to tie Ronda Rousey for consecutive female title defenses against “Thug” Rose Namajunas, and TJ Dillashaw hoped to re-capture the bantamweight title from Cody Garbrandt in a battle between two of the sport’s best.
