Kansas City Chiefs general manager Brett Veach addressed the latest development in the Tyreek HIll alleged child abuse incident.

He told reporters, "Tyreek Hill will not take part in any team activities." adding, "We are going to gather more information and we will make the right decision regarding Tyreek Hill."

This announcement comes just hours after an audio recording between Hill and his fiance was released where she accused him of abusing their three-year-old son.

Veach said in his press conference that the Chiefs organization was made aware of the audio tapes the same time that the public was, he said, "We were deeply disturbed by what we heard, and deeply concerned."

The GM concluded by saying that this decision will hold "for the foreseeable future."

The team issued a full statement on the situation on Friday:

"We were made aware of the audio between Tyreek and Crystal. We were made aware of this information in real time, just like the general public. We were deeply disturbed and concerned by what we heard. We have great concern for Crystal, we are greatly concerned for Tyreek, but our main concern is with the young child.

We decided at this time and for the foreseeable future, Tyreek Hill will not take part in any team activities. We are going to gather more information, we're going to evaluate this information, and we will make the right decision regarding Tyreek Hill."

This announcement comes less than two weeks after it was believed that Hill would be with the team throughout their off-season workouts.
