Zak Smith and Josh Tarzwell had regulation-time goals for Red Deer (13-5-1), as Byron Fancy made 15 saves for the win.

Ben King and Max Patterson scored for Swift Current (3-16-2).

Joel Hofer turned away 44 shots for the Broncos.

The Broncos (3-16-1-1) went 0-for-1 on the power play. The Rebels (13-5-1-0) went 0-for-3 with the man advantage.
