RED DEER, Alta. - It took until the ninth round of the shootout before Adam Musil scored the winner as the Red Deer Rebels edged the Regina Pats 4-3 on Saturday night in Western Hockey League action.

Musil added a goal in regulation for Red Deer (26-14-6), which has won six of seven, while Colton Bobyk and Presten Kopeck also found the back of the net.

Taylor Cooper scored twice for the Pats (26-15-4) with Adam Brooks adding the other.

Taz Burman stopped 26 shots for the win, while Daniel Wapple made 32 saves for Regina.

The Rebels were scoreless on 10 power-play chances while the Pats went 0 for 3.

MOOSE JAW, Sask. — Zach Sawchenko turned aside all 28 shots he faced as the Warriors blanked Lethbridge.

Jiri Smejkal had a three-point night for Moose Jaw (19-24-4), including two goals. Dustin Perillat, Jack Rodewald and Axel Blomqvist also scored.

Jayden Sittler kicked out 43 shots for the Hurricanes (10-27-6), who have lost four straight.

SASKATOON — Wyatt Sloboshan scored at 19:49 of the third period as the Blades came back to beat Kootenay.

Josh Uhrich and Nolan Reid also had third-period goals for Saskatoon (12-29-3). The Blades have now won three straight.

SWIFT CURRENT, Sask. — Braylon Shmyr struck twice as Brandon won its fourth straight by beating the Broncos.

PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. — Chad Butcher had the first of three-straight goals in the second period as Medicine Hat downed the Raiders.

Jesse Lees, Austin Glover, Jayden Hart and Metteo Gennaro found the back of the net for Prince Albert (19-25-1).

CALGARY — Austin Carroll scored two of Victoria's three third-period goals as it beat the Hitmen.

Jack Walker had the other goal in the third for the Royals (24-19-3). Joe Hicketts opened the scoring in the first on the power play. Victoria has now won four straight.

Ben Thomas responded on the man advantage for Calgary (23-17-5).

Montreal Canadiens prospect Nikita Scherbak, Kohl Bauml, Dawson Leedahl and Carson Stadnyk scored in the third period for Everett (28-12-4). Jake Mykitiuk and Ivan Nikolishin had goals in the second period. The win was the fourth straight for the Silvertips.

Taran Kozun started in goal for the Thunderbirds (22-17-5), stopping 28-of-33 shots in 55:11. Danny Mumaugh went the rest of the way, making one save in 4:49.
