NHL suspends Kings' Voynov after arrest on domestic violence charges
The NHL has suspended Los Angeles Kings defenceman Slava Voynov from all team activities indefinitely while it investigates his arrest on domestic violence charges. Voynov will not be able to practise with the team or play in games while the NHL investigates, but he will continue to be paid.
Lightning D Hedman to have surgery on finger, out 4-6 weeks
Tampa Bay Lightning defenceman Victor Hedman will have surgery on his fractured finger Tuesday and is expected to miss the next four to six weeks. Hedman suffered the injury when he blocked a shot in a game against the Vancouver Canucks Saturday night.
