Cauley wins RBC Canadian Open for first-ever PGA Tour title; Yellamaraju low Canadian

Bud Cauley just had to sink a 10-inch putt to win the RBC Canadian Open but when he looked up and saw his wife and two children by the 18th green he had to take a step back and wipe tears out of his eyes to make sure he made the shot. After the brief reset, Cauley rolled the putt in to end a 15-year wait for his first PGA Tour championship.


Yellamaraju vaults up leaderboard after third-round 65 at RBC Canadian Open

Sudarshan Yellamaraju shot a 5-under 65 on Saturday to finish the third round of the RBC Canadian Open tied for seventh at 10 under, three shots back of leader Jackson Suber. It also made him the low Canadian heading into the national men’s golf championship’s final round.


Second Round notes - Inter Rapidisimo Golf Championship

Chris Crawford (Bensalem, Pennsylvania) carded the day’s best round at Club El Rincón de Cajicá, a 7-under 65, and is one of four co-leaders through 36 holes at the Inter Rapidisimo Golf Championship in Bogota, Colombia.


Korda, Cowan two back in LPGA team event

Nelly Korda found the perfect tonic for the week after the biggest win of her career. The U.S. Women’s Open champion is playing with good friend Olivia Cowan of Germany in the Dow Championship, two shots out of the lead Friday held by Polly Mack and Celine Borge.


World’s top amateur Koivun to join PGA Tour

Jackson Koivun is going pro. The world’s top amateur golfer announced on Friday that he is foregoing his senior year at Auburn and will join the PGA Tour following next week’s U.S. Open.

Second-year pro Sebastian Moss (Pearland, Texas) opened with an 8-under 64, his best score of the season on PGA TOUR Americas, and leads by one after the first round of the Inter Rapidisimo Golf Championship in Bogota, Colombia.
