Kiké Hernandez is returning to the Los Angeles Dodgers.
The veteran utilityman announced his return in an Instagram post on Thursday.
Hernandez, 34, posted a photo from the team’s World Series parade with the caption “What else did you expect?!!! 3 in a row has a nice ring to it! #WeBack.”
A native of San Juan, Puerto Rico, Hernandez heads into his 13th big league season and 10th with the Dodgers over two stints. He appeared in 92 games last season, batting .203 with 47 hits, 10 home runs, 35 runs batted in and a .621 OPS. He had 16 hits, a home run and six runs batted in in the team’s 17 postseason games.
A three-time World Series winner, Hernandez has appeared in 1,275 games with the Dodgers, Boston Red Sox, Miami Marlins and Houston Astros. He’s a career .236 hitter with 877 hits, 130 home runs, 470 runs batted in and an OPS of .707.
