Justin Williams has agreed to a two-year contract with the Washington Capitals.

TSN Hockey Insider Darren Dreger reports the deal is holds an average annual value of $3.25 million.

The 33-year-old winger scored 18 goals and added 23 assists in 81 games with the Los Angeles Kings last season.

The three-time Stanley Cup winner was awarded the Conn Smythe Trophy in 2014 after scoring nine goals and tallying 25 points in 26 playoff games.

A veteran of 918 career games with the Philadelphia Flyers, Carolina Hurricanes and Kings, Williams has scored 227 goals and 582 points.

Williams was a first round pick of the Flyers in the 2000 NHL Draft and played 63 games in the 2000-01 campaign.

The Cobourg, Ontario native will turn 34 in October.
